Arbour Bench

This project was a special collaboration between myself and woodworker Ciarán Brennan for the Discovery+ tv series, 'The Woodland Workshop'.

Ciarán created the bench and I crafted the stained glass panel within it. The bench was made in honour of the recipient's late husband so that she would have a place to sit and remember him in their garden. The idea for the bench came from her husband's best friend. Given the brief, it was an emotional piece to work on and to present.
